By collaborating with like-minded individuals, I intend to create work which is relevant, thought-provoking and exciting. In a world where we can ‘see it all’ in a click of a button I am committed to encourage people to engage more thoroughly with tangible experiences of theatre. I am particularly interested in the use of elements in design which engage an audiences senses of smell, touch and taste. I believe that my background in Fine Art and my thirst for knowledge allows me to delve deeply into the meanings of works and find a cohesive sensory language that invites the audience into the world of the piece. I believe that the visuals of a piece should not only talk to the audience in tandem with the action but for it also to question the viewers initial perception of the work.
